Caveats and Definitions
The Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) set by EPA, Safe Drinking Water Act is 4 MG/L. The city does not add Fluoride to the treatment process. All Flouride is natturally occurring. (62% of U.S. municipal drinking water systems add fluoride. 1 PPM is the optimum MG/L to reduce tooth decay)

The Billings Public Utilities Department changed from a fiscal year to a calendar year in 1996.
