Caveats and Definitions
Turbidity is the measurement of fine particles in the water creating a cloudy appearance. Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) set by the State of Montana is less than 0.5 NTU standard 95% of the time.

The Billings Public Utilities Department changed from a fiscal year to a calendar year in 1996.
