Caveats and Definitions
Chlamydia is defined as a micro-organism that infects both men and women. In adults, it can damage the reproductive organs, sometimes causing sterility. Gonorrhea is caused by a bacteria which infects the genital area, or the mouth and throat as a result of oral sex. The rectum may also become infected.
