FAIM consists of 2 major programs, the Pathways program and the Job Supplement program. Pathways provides temporary cash assistance to families with children who have lost other means of support. The Job Supplement program provides non-cash support to families in need. Yellowstone County began the conversion from AFDC to FAIM on May 1, 1996; the conversion was completed in June of 1997.
