State of MT Child Protective Services Office. We are the state agency mandated to investigate referrals of abuse or neglect of children. Our social workers also work with families making referrals for services needed by the family. An on-call social worker is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The In Care network utilizes Indian families and culturally sensitive non-Indian homes. It is committed to helping Indian youth be serving as extensions to their kinship systems; it incorporates the strengths of Indian communities and families into a comprehensive case plan for each youth. The In Care network's vision seeker support group offers cultural awareness and appreciation, education, socialization and group identity; it also offers an independent living program; provides training/educational programs for foster families, natural families, and other human service providers.
