supporters, drunk driving fatalities have declined by
about 40 percent since MADD's founding. More than 2,300
anti-drunk driving laws have been passed, public
awareness is rising and thousands of drunk driving
victims have received much needed assistance.
MADD develops programs
throughout the year to promote public awareness and
raise the nation's consciousness about the dangers of
alcohol and other drug-impaired driving. |
