YWCA is a women’s membership movement that strives to
create opportunities for women’s growth, leadership

It implements this mission through five local
programs.
They are:
Children’s services providing quality care and
education to children 6 weeks through nine years of age
through a child care, preschool and after school
program.
Domestic Violence providing shelter and support
to victims of family violence, the program has a 24-hour
crisis line.
Sexual assault providing accompaniment to the
hospital and on-going support for survivors and their
families.
Employment and training assisting individuals to
overcome barriers to employment and obtain quality jobs.
Supported living enabling individuals with
developmental disabilities to live independently in the
